i saw a news ytd n felt reallli disappointed and angry. it's the news about christopher lee and fann wong. Christopher lee drove after drinking and drove off when he injured someone were things that he did wrongly, but that doesn't mean that we should keep reporting it even after he recieved his punishments.

Of cos, christopher lee should and must take up social responsibility esp when he is an actor, but we r going overboard isn't it? Everyone makes mistake and as long as they realise their mistake and take up the responsibility, shouldn't we give them another chance? The government have been talking about the "yellow ribbon" project, but the things that happened currently to christopher have proven that it's not working isn't it?

Yes, he's an actor and alot thinks that he would have to take up a worse consequence than the public have to take up when they make the same mistake or even worse ones. For this, i realli feel veri sorri and sad for all actors and actresses. They are human like us working for money, but the responsibility they have to carry with them is soooo heavy. Common mistakes that we can make is like a major mistake to them. Just take christopher as an example, if this mistake was to be made by a public, he/she would just have to take up all the legal consequnces and after tat back to normal life. But for christopher, he's like being sentenced to life time imprisonment by the public and media, just because he's an actor.

Some might still tink that Christopher have to face all this things and it's rightful becos he's an actor, so be it. But why must we drag fann into the picture? She's just his girlfriend. She did nothing wrong absolutely, but why must she face consequences too? Just becos she fell for Christopher? That's ridiculous isn't it?

I had always been veri proud of Singapore in terms of the media, but this time, im starting to get realli disappointed. I had always despise the "gou zai dui" in taiwan and hong kong and was veri happy that Singapore do not have anione like this. But ytd news showed that there were reporters hanging outside Fann's hse waiting for her to leave her hse so as to take photos of her. Isn't this just like how the "gou zai" r like? Do we want the Singapore entertainment to end up like those in Taiwan and Hong Kong? Please! I want the old media back, let the Artists have their privacy and forgive and forget their wrong doings! You guys are reporters, NOT dogs!!!
